Most couples would watch porn together and don’t mind if their partner watches it alone

Berlin, Germany. 15 February 2019. Experts are still divided on the impact watching pornography has on a relationship. While it can help inspire partners to spice things up in the bedroom, it can also negatively impact self esteem and body image.

But most modern couples now say that despite the potential pitfalls, they are open to watching porn with their partners, and are even fine with their partner watching porn alone.

Dating app Jaumo (www.Jaumo.com) conducted a survey among its 40 million users to find out about modern attitudes to watching porn in a relationship.

66% of Brits said they were happy with the idea of watching porn with their partner, while the same amount said they were fine with the idea of their partner watching porn alone.

The results showed some discrepancy between genders, with 69% of men open to watching porn with their partner, while just 53% of women would consider it.

Among American respondents, 60% said they would watch porn with their partner, and 58% are fine with their partner watching it.

Spanish men were the most keen, with 77% saying they would watch porn together with their partner, compared with 53% of Spanish women.

German men meanwhile were almost twice as likely as their female counterparts to want to watch porn with a partner at 69%, compared to 38% of women.
